CONTENT and SATISFIED

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.  So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." Genesis 1:26-27 ~ On this Eater Sunday the peace of Christ rules my heart, as I am a member of ONE body. I am thankful. Colossians 3:15 Contented in my knowledge of God, I trust that His every Word is true. Do I recognize that I lack the full knowledge of God? YES!  Do I measure my contented heart against my accomplishments? NO. People who have satisfied all their own needs, people who have never been broken find it difficult to admit their desperate need for a Savior. While on earth, the Son of God was sent into the world to walk with ordinary and those that considered themselves extraordinary. The ordinary came to know Jesus, and in knowing Him, they came to know His Father. Those that prided themselves on their knowledge of God tended to reject Jesus, or their need for a Savior. The Old Testament testifies a few pre-incarnate manifestations of our Lord Jesus. Daniel 3:25 and Daniel 6:22
"Like a son of the gods." Who was the fourth man? Who walked with Daniel's three friends in the furnace? Who was the angel whom God sent to shut the lions mouth when Daniel was in the den? The Lord Jesus Christ is now absent from us in body, but present with our Father God, and also never forsaking us, ever with us, true to His word, the Comforter was sent to dwell within us, Who is like Him. Today in 2012, when we seek the company of Jesus, we come to know God. Seek the Lord Jesus and find God. The promise is that when we seek Him with all our hearts, we shall surely find Him. Consider your purpose, what you were made for, and what direction, what aim, what goal is worthy of our full attention?
What is eternal life? The answer that Jesus gives is: "This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent." John 17:3 KNOWLEDGE OF GOD ~ "This is what the Lord says: 'Let not the wise man boast of his wisom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows Me." Jeremiah 9:23-24 Consider what gives God the greatest pleasure? KNOWLEDGE OF HIMSELF. ~ "I desired....the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings" says God Hosea 6:6 KJV
